The Scrip program is our monthly and continuous band fundraiser. Recently the profits from this program has paid for guest artists to visit Riverside Preparatory School. You can find a complete list of visiting Guest Artists under the “Events” menu.
Scrip cards work the same way as Gift Cards and can be purchased/ used for your everyday spending. At the beginning of each month, the band program will place an order dependent upon your pre-paid order. The cards are then distributed to the students or they can be picked-up in the elementary school office on the Friday following the order.
How the fundraising works: The band program is able to order and purchase the cards for less then its face value. Then we are able to resell them to you for a small profit, from 1.5% to 12% depending upon which card/store is purchased. However, it does not cost you any extra money. A hundred dollar card is sold to you for a hundred dollars.
The next order will be placed on Nov. 16th and the cards will be ready for pick-up on Nov. 19th
All orders need to be to Mr. D by 9am.
