Roger Gillespie, Riverside Prep’s Rhythm Coach
Roger Gillespie has enjoyed a successful and varied career as a studio musician and live performer for more than thirty years. He has many album, television and radio jingles to his credit. Some artists he has recorded and performed with include: Paul Williams, Dick Holler, The Smothers Brothers, The Coasters, Doug Smith, Mark Mancina, Kenny Loggins, 4th Story, Charlie Ventura, Pete Christlieb and many other fine musicians. Most recently Roger has been playing live and recording with jazz group “Zzaj” (DiAne Gillespie, Rich Sumner, Joel Paat and Tom Barnett) as well as legendary sax player Pete Christlieb. Other live shows include a Beatles tribute band “Mark Mancina And Trainwreck Theater”. Also blues stylist Mo Grundy and bluegrass artists Julie Wingfield and Eric Uglum. He also keeps a busy private drum instruction schedule.
